Today being Houdini’s bday leads me to this #tt. My Grampa Harry said he knew Harry Houdini from his time in the Ringling Brothers Circus, and he had the tricks to prove it. I think I was old enough to know better by the time I learned the truth, but the love, humor, intelligence and stories of this Bronx-born, Stuyvesant schooled, NYC Fireman, carpenter, and veteran are dear to me.
